Education and Background

I grew up in South Wales and attended the United World College of the Atlantic, where I completed the International Baccalaureate and graduated top of my year. I went on to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at St Hugh’s College, Oxford, and later completed an MPhil in Philosophy at University College London.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in research roles in both government and the private sector, gaining experience in policy analysis and evidence-based decision-making.

I have been teaching since 2007, specialising mainly in A Level. During this time, I have helped hundreds of students develop strong subject knowledge, confidence, and the skills needed for success at competitive universities.

More recently, I served as Teacher of Economics and Consultant Teacher (the most senior teaching role) at Wycombe Abbey School, one of the UK’s leading independent schools. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), awarded with Outstanding evaluations across all teaching standards.

I also hold an enhanced DBS check for working with children and young adults.
